Ghosts of Istanbul eBook WH Patterson Reviews
WH Patterson's latest book is very imaginative and takes a light hearted look at a very serious subject, death. He takes the reader through space and time, with compelling references to present day(and past), people and events. Loud applause for this young author.
Mr. Patters owes me 5 dollars for a the husk of a Venezuelan cougar procured in my youth. But dammit, I forgave the debt due to the literary prowess of this novel. Gripping, well written, and the type of man I'd let date my daughter.
Ghosts of Istanbul by Mr. WH Patterson is a wonderfully imaginative, harrowing short tale about history, redemption and the ephemeral magic of everyday life (well, death in this case). The rhythmic nature of Mr. Patterson's unpredictable yet lucid prose is essential for the jazzy theme. 4 Stars because it is too short, and seemingly pregnant with crucial omissions.
A lot if intrigue and very fast paced. Will leave you hungry for more. I liked WH Patterson's first book as well. I'm new to this this e-read format and this length of book is very well suited for the e-reader audience. I have always loved stories that take place in Istanbul because of its history and exotic locations.
What a great story. Well developed. I really like the setting. I read the first book from this author. The second one is just as good.
